The blog for strangers.

I know I covered this in my fist post. But whatever this is my blog and I can say whatever the hell I want. I’m really digging this idea of a “blog for strangers” or “brain dump blog.”

I have so many thoughts going through my head at any given time that I want to write down, but I don’t because I know everyone I know will see it.

I was always shocked when people I don’t see all the time come up to me and say “oh, how did you enjoy such and such” or bring up something I did months ago. I would ask “How did you know that.” “Oh, I saw it on Facebook.”

Not that its necessarily bad, I just need an outlet where I can put stuff out there without having to censor myself because I know that my parents, siblings, friends, aquatints so on and so forth all have the ability to see it.

If you are reading this and are among the afore mentioned group. Congrats, you found my “secret” blog. I guess it isn’t really a secret, its just not a social network. You found my out let, my lair, my fortress of solitude on the internet.

Or you happened upon it while googling my name. In which case, don’t you have better things to do? I guess you don’t if you’re here.

But anyway, yeah. Brain dump for strangers. Even though its open to the public and anyone can see it. Who cares?

The new Tumblr blog.

I deleted my blogger site today. Tumblr seems more hip and cool, and it makes me young and sexy, right?

I’ve found that all the social networks I currently use, pretty much everyone I know can see what I’m doing. So, I don’t have an outlet to just say whatever I want without a billion people seeing it.

For me, the internet used to be a place where I could just shout into the universe and my words were heard only by strangers. Now that social media has connected everything I do and say online to everyone I know.

I just want a place where I can post whatever I want and not worry about who is going to read it. Well, people I know will probably find this, but not everybody I know will see it. Such as is the case with Twitter and Facebook.
